Five major music festivals — Beijing Midi Music Festival, 2013 Strawberry Music Festival, Zebra Music Festival, 2013 Dali Erhai World Music Festival and Changjiang International Music Festival — took place during the May Day holiday in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Dali and Nanjing, respectively.
