Shenzhen Museum More than 140 pieces of relics unearthed from the North Pagoda in Chaoyang City in northeastern Liaoning Province are on display until Oct. 7 at the “Treasure From Buddha” exhibition in Shenzhen Museum, offering a glimpse into Chaoyang’s long and rich history. More than 200 Maya civilization relics are also on display until Nov. 25. The exhibits are on loan from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) in the United States. From eating corn mixed with chocolate toppings to performing hallucinogen enema rituals, the exhibition gives a glimpse into the lives of the ancient Mesoamerican rainforest people. The group’s sound is pleasantly woozy and laid-back, but shows a subtle attention to detail without being excessive or indulgent. Wu Yunan and Tulu formed the band in September 2014. Then, Coco Jiang, Si Peng and Kei joined the group in 2016. The band so adheres to doing independent music that they have created nearly 30 original works. Their first single “Time Catcher” was released in April 2018.
