Shanghai Municipality has issued China’s first e-visa, a significant move for the country in promoting the use of electronic visas. Holding an e-visa issued by the Government Affairs of Exit-Entry Administration Bureau of the Shanghai Public Security Bureau, a man surnamed Chung from Singapore arrived at the Shanghai Pudong International Airport by plane at around 1 p.m. Friday, according to the bureau.

報道中的e-visa (electronic visa) 就是“電子簽證”，申請電子簽證需要登錄相關政府網站，填寫表格提交護照和證明材料，簽證通過或者拒簽會以郵件通知申請人。
